Nice find Chris !!!  Makes you wonder why they were there. Makes me wonder anyhow  .

I think thats the biggest group of coins in one spot we have had on here since John, of the John & Holly duo, made that big find a year or so ago.

Almost had to ask what a warnick was

not a wheatie or silver in the bunch!!!    Too bad this wasn't dropped in 1932.  I did have a heart-stopper, though.  I dug a quarter signal at 6 inches and popped up a large copper covered in muck.... what I was SURE was a Large Cent.  Holt was plotted out in 1856, so I was positive it was a Largie.  Turned out to be a Mexican 50 Centavo (probably 50's).  I just don't have drive to clean it up yet.  (Sigh)  Sad  Michael DID score a Roosie and a Warnick, though.

Nice half Sandy!  Those lady walkers are beautiful coins. The first one is always memorable.

My plans for this Labor Day weekend were to get out and do some digging every day. Well the weather cooperated and I was able to do just that, even if it was just for a little bit on a few of the days. I did get a couple full days in. I actually got a jump on the long weekend and got a '45s Merc on thursday. Friday I took off to hit a couple parks over in Nebraska, in Emerson I got the '45 Merc and the '95 I.H. then headed over to Wayne and got the '39, '39d Mercs, the '62d Rosey and the '16 Buffalo. Saturday it was back over to Nebraska with Dakota Jim where I got the '00 Barber dime, the'45 Merc and the '56d Rosey for my 3rd trifecta this year. Today I had some time this morning and early afternoon so I headed down the road to a park I've often wondered about but never really thought much of. Mike caught up with me down there and we both managed to get silver out of there. Mine was a no date D mint SLQ and Mike got a Merc. I got over 30 wheats for the weekend too. All in all I had a fun weekend, I hope everyone enjoyed their's. Thanks for looking and HH.
