My "best feeling" find...
« on: December 14, 2007, 01:02:04 PM »
I work in a big corporate insurance building by Crown Center.  Not a suit-n-tie guy in the least.  I work in our in-house Print Shop.  I put an ad in our classifieds for anyone losing anything of value and I get to keep anything extra I find in looking for their item.  The first response I got was for a lost gold retirement chain from the Sherrif's dept.  Sentimental value.  I retrieved the item, put a huge smile and a tear on the face of the individual, and found nothing else in the yard except a warm "innerds" feeling of recovering the lost necklace.

WOW, Way to go.  Thanks for sharing with us.  I have gone out and looked for lost items for people before but for some reason I haven't had very good luck.  I think I am like 0 for 4.  Good job and good KARMA

Good Story CJ.
I've yet to return an item of substantial value, sentimental or monetary. Not for lack of trying either. I have a similar track record to Don's.
I have helped with a couple sets of keys, and a membership stick pin, but nothing valuable or irreplaceable.
