Yesterday was pretty much a bust.  I drove around for about 4 hours and knocked on about 15 doors and was turned down every time.  Finally last night I took the kids into town for ice cream and then stopped at the local park (we spent the weekend at our property in Central Missouri).  This park has always been good to me I can usually always pull a silver out on demand and last night was no different.  In about 10 minutes of looking I had the Silver quarter and a handfull of clad.  Today since Becky and I both drove our cars out to the property I decided to spend a couple hours detecting on the way back to Kansas City.  I knocked on 2 doors and got 2 yes's.  The first house I didn't find anything worth mentioning but the 2nd house was my dream house.  The lady said it was over 100 years old, a better guess would have been 150 years old.  I found 3 silver dimes and another Indian Head.  I took some pictures of the house and also some of the other odds and ends I found I will post them later after I finish unpacking.

Here is the picture of the house I was at today (where I found the Indian and 3 silver dimes).  This house is vacant but the owners lived behind it in a new double wide mobile home.

I'm thinking the Indian is my favorite. Not many 70's indians dug with full liberty. I'd hunt that house several more times Don before I called it a day.......

there is a large area to hunt, I have only hunted the front of the house so far (I think it is the front)  This may have been the side yard at first and the area to the right of my picture may have been the front.  That area is facing the railroad tracks and looks to be the oldest part of the house.  I plan on going back this weekend and spending a couple more hours searching it.

Wow!  You missed that Injun' by 1 year!  Still a $100 coin!  Great job.

That 1877 Indian might still be out there.  I am going back next week to look for him.
