Finally made it out to a good old house yard last Saturday for a little dirt fishing and hooked a few keepers --- couple nice barbers: 1893-S and 1898; and a nice old merc: 1920-D; and a 1895 Injun penny.

Was an excellent day, topped off with the Hawkeyes beating Penn State!!!

Hawkeye Jim.

Looks like a couple 32cal shells in that pile of goodies. Whats the half moon thing towards the center? Those coins look pretty nice for their age!
A day like that would make me very happy!

Great digs Hawkeye !
That 93-S will pay for gas on a couple of trips.  Great reverses on those coins.

I believe it to be part of some type of token --- one side ssays, 'COLUMBIA TRU-FIT GOLDEN JUBILEE' and the other side has some writing but I can't read it --- not sure what it refers to!
