My names .... well call me Drew. I live in West Virginia. I do a good bit of relic hunting. I'm waiting for the weather to warm up alittle before I go back out again. I really enjoy it. My friend Eric got me into it. He had the equipment and I had the locations and could get the permission. I've been dong it know for three years now and am looking to go beyond my usual locations. I've found many things suchs as old locks that are from the 1800's, 1910 wheat penny and other wheat pennies, rivets, rounds ball, shot three ringers, horse bites, bottles from the 1800's. If anybody is interested in going relic hunting just let me know. But I must warn you the places I go are a bit of a hike. I cross streams, climb cliffsides and much more if I know theres a good chance of finding something. So if your still interested just reply so we can set a time to go. Thank You Drew

Welcome to the board Drew and thanks for the invite.
I have been though W. Virginia a couple of times and it looks like a very interesting place to detect.  Me, being a flat lander in Kansas I have made a few hikes and crossed many creeks, but I think I would rather face a mad bull than climb a cliffside  Smiley .
If you ever get out towards KS or MO, let us know your coming and we can do a little detecting in this area.
Keep us posted on what your finding in WV.
