Hello to all. I'm Roy in KC MO. Been enjoy all your post; now its my turn. Bought an Ace 250 last year. Did a bit of detecting last year. Been itching to get out after reading your post, seeing finds. tommorow I'm trying to find some old sites out of the city, and I wanted to introduce myself before I unveil my soon to be amazing finds. Or at least I will enjoy the day trying. I do construction, mostly residential, so I've tried to hit some freshly uncovered earth, but not too many hours logged yet. I am doing a job soon at an old house in Independence, and I already asked for permission to detect when I gave the bid (yes!)

Welcome to the forum Roy !
Sounds like you have the perfect job to get the "in" on private properties.  Takes some photo's of what you find and post them on here.

Good Luck !

Welcome Roy, It sounds like you have "The Drive" to do what it takes.
With a job like yours, you should have some good chances on scoring something old. Now that things are thawing out, its going to get real busy on this forum.
Everybody has been cooped up for the winter and we all have the itch!
Let us know how you do. You should try to make it to our next club meeting!

Thanks guys. No finds worthy of a pic from Sunday's hunt.  Enjoying the warmer, sunnier weather and looking forward to posting some pic finds in the future.
