Best find and memory
« on: October 17, 2012, 04:07:26 PM »
Was found by my then 13yr old daughter with a borrowed detector. It's 14K with 19 diamonds and appraised at $1,500. It's a find and memory that I'll keep forever.

What a great find. I bet your proud of her and she's proud of her find. The best part is the time spent together.  8)

Thats true. The time spent detecting with her means more than the ring by far.

WOW nice finds. I used a metal gold detector and search old abandoned home steads, crop fields, public parks and beaches in hopes of uncovering some long lost piece of the past. For me it's not about the gold, silver and other riches....it's about the rush I get when I uncover something that has been lost for years and knowing that I am holding something that at one time was held by the people who helped form this great nation...whether it be a lost piece of military history or a personal item of a man or woman who remembers what it was like when you had to actually had to put effort into day to day living.
